Description

Retrotec 6220F – Fire System [Enclosure Integrity]

Double Hi-Power

This system is actually two complete US6110F systems that can be used independently or combined with the Leakage Split kit for ceiling neutralization. Includes two 1 hp calibrated fans making it Ideal for large size enclosures up to 102,000 ft3/ 2,900 m3 for Inerts and 212,000 ft3/ 6,000 m3 for halocarbons. Includes fan cases and tool cases.

It also includes the newly released, industry changing DM32X gauge, the industry’s first manometer with smart capabilities, wireless connectivity, and a touch screen interface.

Double hi-power fans offers a huge advantage. Not only in the maximum size you can test; probably any enclosure. But also enough power to test large dampers while installed. The high power fans will test their ability to open and then accurately measure the entire relief vent pathway to ensure the peak pressure specifications are not exceeded.

Test for hold times in flooded volumes up to 102,000 cu ft (2000 m3) for Inert agents and 140,000 cu ft (4000 m3) for halocarbon chemical agents.

This system will test the venting for a volume up to a maximum of 24,000 cu ft (660 m3) for Inert agents although vents up to 16 sq ft (1.6 m2) can be measured individually.

Request literature on all of Retrotec systems to determine the size of enclosures that can be tested with each system.

Why Retrotec for Enclosure Integrity?

All Retrotec systems include tech support from Retrotec who originated the idea of Enclosure Integrity testing in 1984. They promoted it within NFPA and in 1986 wrote the first Enclosure Integrity standard. Retrotec has been the lead researcher for enclosure testing ever since.  Every major clean agent system manufacturer worldwide relies on Retrotec’s expertise for both hold time and peak pressure predictions.
